Peter is an °ÅÀÖÊÓƵÏÂÔØapp consultant with over 30 years’ experience in educational governance. He has served on primary and secondary boards including MATs, single academy trusts and maintained schools as well as in the university sector. He is currently chair of a secondary single academy trust and vice-chair of a trust for children with special educational needs (age range 3-19). ÌýAs a former CEO of a mainstream school trust (primary and secondary) and previous National Leader in Education he has worked closely with many schools and trusts supporting chairs, governing boards, governance professionals and senior leaders. Recent work as an °ÅÀÖÊÓƵÏÂÔØapp consultant has included external governance reviews, performance management and strategic development. ÌýHis approach is flexible and supportive focused on impactful governance having a positive impact on strategy and culture.
In 2024 Peter was awarded an OBE for services to education, specifically in the West and East Midlands.
