Simon supports schools and trusts through training and governance reviews, working with governing boards and governance professionals across different settings. He is a qualified trainer and has written and delivered training for governors and trustees on a wide range of topics.
Simon is an experienced governor, vice-chair and chair having governed in six schools over the past fourteen years. He is currently a trustee at a local community charity.
Simon has previously worked for °ÅÀÖÊÓƵÏÂÔØapp, initially leading Future Chairs, the chairs recruitment element of the Inspiring Governance programme, supporting schools and academy trusts to recruit a skilled and experienced candidate to fulfil an upcoming requirement for a chair. More recently Simon worked with education and governance stakeholders across the South-East, London and East of England Regions to support the development of governance practice.
Earlier in his career, Simon held several roles in business management across public sector organisations, and he has experience in charity trustee recruitment and strategic planning.
