In this keynote address, Mandy Coalter talks about strategies that make schools and trusts great places to work and how this can improve recruitment and retention.

The keynote covers:

  • the impact of leadership dynamics and culture in schools and trusts
  • why 'talent architecture' should be top of the agenda
  • building a long-term 'people plan'
  • measuring staff engagement

From 2012 to 2019 Mandy was Director of People at United Learning, one of the largest school groups in the UK. Mandy has previously worked in the NHS, Local Government, the Charity sector and with schools. She is also a very experienced Board Director and advisor on aspects of corporate governance.
