Meet the trainer

Jonathan Roe

Jonathan Roe has experience of governance across a wide spectrum, as the CEO of a ten school MAT, as a governor and trustee and vice-chair in primary and secondary settings. In his °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµÏÂÔØapp consultant role Jonathan undertakes a range of consultancy work including external reviews of governance and training for those governing in academy trusts and schools. His career in education started in 1994 and led to primary headship in a maintained school, and latterly roles in a MAT with responsibilities for school and leadership development. He is familiar with the use of AI in the school and governance spheres and the opportunities and challenges this brings and is currently working with a group of school chairs on maximising the value of AI within an ethical framework.
